Edit your community profile photo and personal information

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_communities.community_user

    You can only edit your community profile if you are logged in to the community.

    About this task

    There are two ways of accessing your community profile.

    Procedure

    1. From the Community homepage, perform one of the following actions.
      • Click the Community menu and then click Profile on the Community homepage.
      • Click your name or profile photo and then click Profile.
    2. To change your profile picture, click Upload Picture.
      A file system upload is initiated. Choose an image in .png or .jpg format and click Open.
    3. To change a field value, click the value to display a pop-up window.
    4. In the field value pop-up window, select the desired value and click Save.

      Repeat this step for each field that you want to update.

      The following table includes a description of the fields on the User Profile page.
      Table 1. User Profile fields
      Field Description
      Company Name of your employer.
      Title Your job title.
      Department Your job department.
      Location Your address, city, and state.
      Bio A short description about yourself.
      Email Your email address.
      Note:
      Use the email address used in your instance profile or the reset password features cannot be used.
      Business phone The work telephone number where people can reach you.
      Mobile phone Your mobile telephone number.
      Country The country in which you work or reside.
      Time zone The time zone in which you work or reside.
      Accessibility enabled Use this toggle button to enable accessibility features.
