Elevate your role in ServiceNow Studio

  • Configure roles and access control lists (ACLs) easily by elevating your role to security_admin from within ServiceNow Studio.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin, or another role that can be elevated.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
    2. From the home page, select your user preferences.
    3. Select Elevate role.
    4. Select the security_admin role.
      The security_admin role grants modification access to high security settings, and allows you to modify the access control list (ACL). For more information, see Elevated privilege roles.

      Elevate to the security admin role to change roles and access control lists.

    5. Select Update.
