Preview an app file in ServiceNow Studio

    • Preview files in ServiceNow Studio to make sure the finished product looks and functions how you want it to. Only files with a user interface can be previewed.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin or delegated_developer

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
    2. Preview files from the App details page or from within an open file.

      1. Open an application in the canvas.
      2. Next to the file you want to preview, select the more options icon (), and select Preview.

      2. In the top-right corner, select Preview.

    3. Take any action you need to based on how the previewed file looks and works.
