Meta are not searchable in portal

Hi All,

When we search the keywords(meta) of knowledge article in service portal end the related article is available only for English language.

when the language is set to "English", it is working fine. When the language is set to "French" the search engine does not work at all and return no result. Could you please assist me in finding the root cause.

Hi Preethi,

This is because , by default, the search engine will only return results in the language of the user.
In order to change that behaviour and display search results in all available languages simultaneously,  you need to enable the glide.knowman.enable_multi_language_search property.
This is done by going to to Knowledge > Administration > Properties> Knowledge Search Properties > Enable multi language search and select the Yes check box as on screenshot below:
