Hi All,
I have a couple of questions regarding PR licensing.
Example scenario:
There is a ABC company, what uses ServiceNow SMS for 100 fulfillers and wants to use ServiceNow Platform Runtime to manage Office cases. The Office team comprises of 20 technicians and separate, and don't need to use SMS applications. They need to utilize CMDB where the need to have access to data stored by IT team (laptops, printers, end users) and also have "their own" CI classes like room, table desk, printing area.
Questions:
- Do OfficeM team need a license to use CMDB data in their scoped app?
- Do Office team need a SMS license to update CMDB record that was created by IT team. In this case they need to update weather it is active/decommissioned.
- Does the Office team need a SMS license to create incident (by using UI Script) on behalf of the same user that registered case in OfficeM app?
- Can we use platform integration services to perform scenario above?
- OfficeM team don't need to fulfill the incident registered in Incident app. It is register and forget model.
This is a simple example to discuss use case not exact scenario.
Thanks in advance,
Marcin

Hi Marcin,
Your best approach to getting these questions answered with authority is to reach out to your ServiceNow account rep to get current and accurate information.
