"Map to field" in catalog item, add question is not visible.

In the training modules on the developer site there is a section "Exercise: Add Questions to the Catalog Item" for making a catalog item and adding a question to the catalog item. The instructions are add a question 

Question type:Text

Question subtype:Single-line

Map to a specific field on the table:Selected (checked)

Table field:To do item

Question label:What needs to get done?

Name:(this field value is automatically populated)

I am in Admin role, with a dev instance for practicing.

Hi,

Did you select catalog item for this exercise or did you select record producer?

A record producer is a form of a catalog item, but that would be where the "map to field" functionality shows up.

I imagine using this exercise and the catalog item builder, you'd need to ensure you completed the step about choosing a destination table.

Also the destination step was not there for catalog item. Im going to try the steps with record producer.

I think you're on to something here. It seems in the training, when selecting add experience the options are only catalog item, workspace, portal, and mobile experience, but do not include record producer. The training says to select catalog item.

but in my Rome instance it includes the record producer, and instead of catalog item, it is now standard catalog item. Does this mean that the training is a bit outdated with the implementation of record producer?
