Hello Community,
Looking for insight from the community.
The situation:
- Table field read ACL for specific roles [let's call it f1/field_1]
- Report contains f1 on list
- Report has default sort using using f1
- Report added to dashboard widget
- User views dashboard and widget
- Widget and report loads
- Widget displays message: "Part of the query on [table] has been ignored because of read security rules on [table]" [Expected behavior. See image.]
- Report does not return any rows
- Only when user selects a choice from the Group by does the report load (minus the f1) [see image]
Initially, I thought it was the sort causing the problem. I updated the report using another field to sort. This did not affect the behavior mentioned above.
I would like to understand why doesn't the list just load [minus the f1] without having the user change the Group by in order to see the list.
To users, it's not intuitive--it's more inconvenient.
Thank you.

Hello Desmo,
Just a suggestion: disable the different read ACLs from that table and test to see if the issue continues.
If not, start activating each ACL until you detect the one that is causing the issue.
Then, you can share again here your findings so we can help you!
Please, if this answer is relevant for you, please mark it as correct and helpful.
Thanks,
Filipe
