sys_attachment not accessibe

Users are unable to see attachments to records.  Setting the stage:

  • Scoped application in a domain separated environment. 
  • Deactivated all ACL's for sys_attachment (read)
  • users still unable to see attachments on records....and when using leftnav to go to sys_attachment.list, i get an ACL (not allowed to see records).
  • I have even deleted the ACLs (after making a backup) and users still cannot see attachments.
  • Only when viewing as an ADMIN can i see attachments (no ITIL user role...scoped app)...

anyone have any idea why?  what other ACL would prevent users from seeing attachments??

Hi John,

This seems to be strange. Can you debug the security rules and check which ACL is blocking the access.

Also check if any query Business rule on sys_attachment table.
