    • The ServiceNow® Adoption Services is a suite of solutions, both products and features, that provide user support and critical information at the anticipated time of need. Adoption Services was enhanced and updated in the Xanadu release.

    Adoption Services highlights for the Xanadu release

    • Experience the new UI and features available in the Guided Setup builder powered by Playbooks.
    • Use the new Guided Setup player process, which is powered by Playbooks and provides a more streamlined experience and enhanced UI.

    UI changes

    Configuration setup type
    The configuration setup type page to choose from a basic, recommended, or custom setup type is removed from the Guided Setup player.
    Get Started
    The Continue button is changed to Get Started in the Guided Setup player.
    Category drop-down
    The Category drop-down list is updated in the header of the Guided Setup player.
    Mark as complete
    The Continue button is changed to Mark as complete on the Setup department page, the Web client branding page, and the Theme engine page in the Guided Setup player.
    Skip button
    The Skip button is only enabled in the Guided Setup player for tasks that aren't required.

    Changed in this release

    Use the new Guided Setup player process backend powered by the Playbooks backend. App development team admins that create Guided Setups for their products now have all capabilities that are part of the Playbooks. This change creates a similar Guided Setup player experience with new visual enhancements to the UI.
    Create a guided setup
    Use the new capabilities offered with the Playbooks (PAD) backend to define the activities that PAD can support in addition to the existing activities of the Guided Setup builder. For example, you can use Conditional Flow, which would be introduced in the Guided Setup flow.

    Adoption Services is a ServiceNow AI Platform feature that is active by default.
