Document Services release notes
The ServiceNow® Document Services application provides a broad range of services related to document management, such as creating, maintaining, and converting documents, as well as integrating with third parties like Microsoft SharePoint. Document Services was enhanced and updated in the Xanadu release.
Document Services highlights for the Xanadu release
- Extend collaboration and improve user experience with the integration of Document Management with external cloud providers, such as Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Increase collaboration with management of Google Docs files on Google Drive.

- Document viewer support for hyperlinks, attachments, and digital signature
- Document Viewer now supports using hyperlinks, downloading of PDF attachments, and viewing of digital signatures.
- Accessibility feature for DOCX to PDF conversion
- Accessibility support added for DOCX to PDF conversion. PDF accessibility tags are now available to help non-sighted users who rely on screen readers to navigate, understand, and interact with converted PDF documents.
Activation information
Document Services is a ServiceNow AI Platform feature that is active by default.

Install Multi Provider Document Services Framework by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store. Accessibility information
Accessibility support has been added for document conversion from DOCX to PDF. PDF accessibility tags are now available to help users who rely on screen readers to navigate, understand, and interact with converted PDF documents.
