Set up and configure Data Management.

Configuration overview

Data Management is a ServiceNow AI Platform capability that is active by default. You can take advantage of columnar storage for archive records and attachments by upgrading to RaptorDB Professional V2 and installing additional plugins.

• Activate columnar storage
  You can activate the Data Archiving – Columnar Storage (com.glide.db.columnar.archive) plugin for Data Management if you have the admin role.
• Activate migration of attachments to columnar storage
  You can activate the Data Management Columnar Attachments Migration plugin (com.glide.data_management.columnar_attachments) for Data Management if you have the admin role.
