    New in the Xanadu release

    Explore Opportunity Marketplace (OPM)
Opportunity Marketplace originally had a single opportunity type, Internal jobs. In the Xanadu release there are three additional opportunity types Projects, Gigs, and Volunteer. These opportunity types differ from traditional opportunities in that they’re temporary for a fixed duration. The duration can be short-term or long-term, but not permanent.
    Introduced the opportunity owner persona

The Opportunity owner is the leader or host of the opportunity. Owners can create and publish opportunities to the marketplace for employees to view and apply to. Additionally, Opportunity owners can manage and view status updates to their opportunities from the Opportunities you own dashboard.

Owners use the detail pages to review and select applicants. Applicants are employees who have applied for an opportunity. The applicant review experience includes match scores based on how well an employee meets the skills and criteria specified for the role.

    Enhanced opportunities browsing
Employees can search and browse opportunities that match their preferences and skills from the Other opportunities page.
Enhanced detail views of opportunities and roles
Employees can view the details of the opportunities and roles from an opportunity's details page. Employees see the required and preferred skills and understand their match scores for one or more roles. The opportunity details help employees to understand their own strengths and weaknesses compared to a role they’re interested in applying for.
