Request a hardware asset through the Zero Touch request flow

Request a hardware asset directly with the external provider through the Zero Touch request flow by ordering the asset from the Service Catalog.

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Service Catalog > Hardware.
2. On the catalog request, provide the required details.
   The fields displayed on the catalog request form vary with the catalog item and the provider. The provider requires these field values to fulfill the request.
3. In the Quantity field of the Order this item section, select the quantity of items that you want to order.
   Note:

   If your provider supports multiple assets in a single request, an additional field to enter the quantity details is displayed on the catalog request only when your Catalog Administrator hasn't hidden the equivalent quantity variable for the catalog item. However, the quantity that you selected in the Order this item section is considered for your request.
4. Select Submit.

Result

Your hardware catalog request is successfully submitted.
