View audit results

  • View the audit results after you audit your inventory. The Audit Results section is activated and shows the details of the audit result.

    About this task

    The audit results are generated by matching the assets scanned in the stockroom or physical location with the asset records available in the ServiceNow instance.

    Procedure

    1. Open an asset audit record.
      InterfaceAction
      Core UI Navigate to Asset Audits > Asset Audits form.
      Important:
      If you have set the sn_hamp.migrate_hamaudit system property value to true, to enable audit enhancements in your ServiceNow® instance, you can't view the audit result from the core UI. Audit enhancements feature is available with Hardware Asset Management version 15.0.0 onwards.
      Hardware Asset Workspace
      1. Navigate to All > Hardware Asset Workspace > Inventory view.
      2. Select the Asset audit tab.

        The Asset audit tab displays a list of existing asset audits.

      ServiceNow Agent app
      1. From your mobile device, launch the Mobile Agent application.
      2. Tap Asset.
      3. Select Location audits or Stockroom audits tile.

        The Open tab displays a list of existing open asset audits

    2. Select the stockroom or location audit number.
      The Asset audit results are displayed. For more information about audit result fields, see Audit results.

      Note:
      In the Hardware Asset Workspace, on the Asset audits form under the Details tab, the audit result-related field values are populated. In the ServiceNow Agent app, you can find audit results on the Asset Audits screen under the Details tab.
