Configure settings to monitor asset key performance indicators (KPIs) in the Hardware Asset Workspace

Set up the necessary configurations in the Asset operations view to enable the tracking of KPIs for your hardware assets. These settings enable you to monitor and manage the performance your assets.

Important:

The settings to enable the tracking of asset performance are available with Hardware Asset Management version 13.0.0 and later.

As an administrator, configure the following settings to monitor asset KPIs:

1. Opt in to model categories to track performance KPIs for hardware assets.
2. Create an operational schedule for hardware assets.
3. Map hardware assets to an operational schedule.

• Opt in to model categories to track performance KPIs for hardware assets
  Monitor the performance KPIs of hardware assets in your organization by enabling the KPI tracking for the models to which the assets belong.
• Create an operational schedule for hardware assets
  Define the scheduled operational time, which is the duration during which the asset will be in use, by creating an operational schedule.
• Map hardware assets to an operational schedule
  Create an asset schedule to map the hardware assets to an operation schedule.
