Key Features
- Status Report Enhancements: Import legacy status reports into the new status report tool for streamlined reporting. Users can duplicate status reports to avoid manual data entry. Editing is disabled by default but can be enabled via a system property.
- Project Task Checklists: Create and manage checklists within project tasks to track necessary activities, with administrative control over checklist management.
- Security and Confidentiality: Apply confidentiality settings to projects to restrict access to authorized users only. Confidential settings propagate across all related workspaces. At least one user must be assigned access to confidential projects to maintain security compliance.
- Resource Allocation and Heatmap: Use the enhanced allocation heatmap modal to monitor resource status, remaining capacity, and utilization for better resource management. Inline editing allows updating multiple child resource assignment cells simultaneously. New fields in resource assignments include Name, Ready for Review, and Notes. Resource assignments can be extended via a context menu.
- Financial Management UI Updates: The planning view now includes a dedicated Financials tab. Terminology updates include renaming ETC to Remaining Estimates, EAC to Forecast, and Actuals to Actuals.
- Skill and UI Updates: The Project Gen AI Docs skill is renamed to Project doc summarization. The resource assignment form now captures more detailed information and supports weekly and monthly time spans. The heatmap modal includes columns for Utilization, Resource Status, and Remaining Capacity showing task efforts and assignment statuses.

Project Workspace can be installed through the ServiceNow Store. Customers should ensure to upgrade to Project Workspace version 6.1.0 to fully utilize Docs v6.6.0 features.
