  • 1 minute to read
  • Download your glossary as a CSV or spreadsheet file to share with stakeholders, reviewers, or third-party translation service providers.

    Before you begin

    • Requires Localization Workspace version 3.1.0 or later.
    • Roles required: both sn_lw.user and sn_lw.terminology_manager.

    About this task

If you plan to export a glossary to a CSV (comma-separated values) file, confirm that your local settings support non-ASCII characters.

Translations into custom (self-localized) languages can't be exported. Only glossary translations into default supported languages can be exported using this method.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Localization Workspace > Language Asset Management.
    2. Select the Glossaries tab in Language Asset Management.
    3. In the list view of Glossaries, select the check box of the glossary that you want to export.

The Glossaries tab of Language Asset Management is open. The check box for an example glossary is selected, and the Export Glossary button is highlighted.

      Tip:
You can select all available glossaries using the check box in the header row at Glossary Name.
    4. Select Export Glossary to open the Export modal window.
    5. Select either CSV or Excel at the drop-down File Type field.
The Export modal window is open. The drop-down field for File Type displays CSV in this example. The Export button is highlighted.
    6. Select Export.
