Set up Now Assist with Setup Hub

    • Implement the following steps to set up Now Assist with Setup Hub on your instance.

    Before you begin

    Before performing this task you must install Setup Hub application from ServiceNow store or from the prompt on the Admin Home page.

    This application is available to all users with Foundation SKUs for ITSM, CBS, ITOM, and ESM, and Pro+ SKUs for ITSM and HRSD.

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to your Admin Home page on your instance.
      The system dynamically renders application and plugin cards based on your admin entitlement status.

      Note:
      If you use an earlier version of Admin Center, see Install Now Assist plugins for installation information about Now Assist. In the latest version of Admin Center, the Now Assist card appears in the Manage your products section.
      Note:
      The Manage your products section is collapsible by default. You can expand it to see all the product family cards.
    2. Select View product overview for the Now Assist card to start the setup process.
      The Product Hub page for Now Assist shows up.
    3. Select the redirect icon next to the app bundle mentioned under the Not installed tab to start the installation process of the specific app bundle.
      The App manager page shows up.
    4. Select Install in the Get started section.

      The Review Installation Details modal shows up. It shows a list of corresponding applications that will be installed as part of the installation process.

    5. Select Continue and then Install in the Review Installation Details modal.

      You also get the option of scheduling the installation process either for immediate execution or later processing.

      The Installation progress bar shows up. As soon as the installation starts, the selected app bundle card moves to queue on the Product Hub page.
    6. Once you are done installing all the necessary applications and plugins, select Go to Now Assist Admin on the Product Hub page to boost your AI capabilities.
