Empty XML file when exporting Update set

I just completed an Update set and I wanted to export it as xml. After clicking on "Export to XML" I get an empty xml file.

Anybody knows what could be the reason?

Does the Update set contain a UI Page? Updates sets have issues with 'capturing' Complex UI Pages correctly.

Thanks Terri,

The Update set does contain a UI page, but a very simple one. On the other hand, it also includes a quite complex UI macro. In any case, I need both of them in the Update set, since it is intended for certification.

How can I know if this is indeed the issue? Is there any way to solve it?

There is a problem open with ServiceNow. As a workaround we had to 'COPY' the UI Page and apply it directly in the target Instance.

Thanks again for trying to help, Terry. As I said, the problem is that I want the XML for certifying the application. There is no actual target instance where I must deploy the Update set. I need everything in the XML file before submitting my application. If that is not possible, I will discuss directly with ServiceNow to see how to proceed.
