Install Virtual Agent plugins

  • Install Virtual Agent plugins for your business areas. These plugins contain predefined conversations and Virtual Agent assets that help users with common self-service tasks, such as creating or updating cases or providing answers to frequently asked questions.

    Before you begin

    Activate Virtual Agent.

    Role required: admin or virtual_agent_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Conversational Interfaces > Home.
    2. Under Choose what type of requests you want your bot to support, select an available plugin, such as Get ITSM plugin.

      Select Get ITSM plugin to install it from the ServiceNow Store.
    3. Follow the directions in the ServiceNow Store and select Opt-in when prompted.
    4. Optional: Repeat these steps to install additional plugins.
