List edit ACL is not working

Hi Team,

Help for the below requirement. 

We have one requirement, on list view for a specific fields the data should be read only for that I have created one ACL that is 

Operation --> list_edit

Table.field

Script --> answer = false;

But it is not working. The field remains editable.

Hi @Khalid9030 

Make sure you're testing it from user's perspective. 

And if you would like to apply for admin also, just uncheck the box Admin overrides.

Please check if there is another ACL which is granting access.

If any ACL resolve to true, access is granted, also when some other is returning false.

Do you have another ACL for the same field?

Write ACL maybe?

Can you show a screenshot of the ACL you have created.

any field level ACL is granting the edit?

Did you debug ACL and check which one is that?
