Working with multiple ServiceNow accounts on a single mobile device

    Before you begin

    Role required: user

    Note:
    Depending on the configuration by your administrator, you may only have access to a single account and therefore not have permission to change to other accounts.

    Procedure

    1. Access the account by doing one of the following:
      • Tap on the account icon (account icon.), which displays in the header area of the mobile app. The icon displays when you have added two or more accounts to the All Accounts screen.
      • Tap the Settings icon (Settings icon on the mobile device.), and then on the Settings page tap Accounts.
    2. Choose whether to add, log in, log out, remove, or edit an account.
      Note:
      You can't rename or remove preconfigured accounts. Preconfigured accounts are defined by your administrator and are identified by the following icon (Preconfigured account icon.).

      Adding a new account
      1. Tap the top menu in the Accounts page.
      2. Tap Add account.

      3. Enter your ServiceNow URL or scan the QR code. For more details, see Add a ServiceNow account to ServiceNow mobile apps.
      4. (Optional) Enter a nickname.
      5. Tap Save and log in, to add your selected account.
      6. Enter your user name and password for this account.
      7. Tap Log in to display the landing page of your account.
      Logging in to an account For iOS, you can do one of the following:
      • In the Accounts page, tap on the account you want to log in to.
      • In the Accounts page, swipe to the left on the account you want to log in to, and select Log in from the displayed menu.
      For Android, you can do one of the following:
      • In the Accounts page, tap on the account you want to log in to.
        1. In the Accounts page, tap on the more menu on the account you want to log in to.
        2. From the bottom menu option, select Log in.
      Logging out of an account For iOS:
      1. In the Accounts page, swipe to the left on the account you want to log out from.
      2. From the displayed menu options, tap Log out.
      For Android:
      1. In the Accounts page, tap on the more menu on the account you want to log out from.
      2. From the bottom menu option, select Log out.
      Removing or renaming an account For iOS:
      1. In the Accounts page, swipe to the left on the account you want to rename or remove from the list.
      2. Tap Edit.
      3. From the menu option, tap either Rename or Remove from the list.
      4. Confirm the change that you want to make.
      For Android:
      1. In the Accounts page, tap on the more menu on the account you want to rename or remove from the list.
      2. From the bottom menu option, tap either Rename or Remove from list.
      3. Confirm the change that you want to make.
