  • The ServiceNow® mobile SDK enables users to develop native iOS and Android mobile apps using an integrated development environment and give mobile apps access to existing ServiceNow data and workflows.

    Mobile SDK features

The Mobile SDK gives you the ability to do the following:
    • Access ServiceNow mobile platform’s APIs from iOS and Android apps.
    • Query data, embed, and enable Virtual Agent.
    • Provide simple authentication flows leveraging JSON Web Tokens for third-party apps to authenticate and unauthenticated users.
    • Embed authenticated web views.
    • Support push notifications triggered by the ServiceNow AI Platform.
    • Embed a real-time, AI-powered voice agent directly in your mobile application. NowVoice provides a full-screen voice interface that connects users to a ServiceNow voice agent, with live transcripts, mute controls, and post-call transcript sharing.

For more details regarding the Mobile SDK, see the Mobile SDK API reference.

    NowVoice

The NowVoice module enables developers to embed a voice agent session into any iOS or Android app built on the Mobile SDK. Users interact with a ServiceNow voice agent through a native full-screen UI. The module handles authentication, WebSocket connectivity, and real-time transcript rendering automatically.

    NowVoice supports the following capabilities:
    • Real-time voice communication with a ServiceNow voice agent.
    • Live call transcript with optional post-call summary screen.
    • Mute and unmute controls with state-change callbacks.
    • Configurable UI with options to hide or show transcript sharing.
    • Theming support through the NowUI theming system (iOS) and SDK theming (Android).

    Mobile SDK Benefits

    • Develop more engaging end-user experiences that fit seamlessly into your branding and visual identity.
    • Provides end-to-end development control for employing existing ServiceNow workflows to increase engagement and deflection rates.
    • Create the experience that you want, natively in your own app.
