Edit record reference entries in record screen tables

  • Edit existing entries in the record screen tables in the Mobile App Builder.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin or delegated developer

    For more information about the delegated developer role, see Delegated development and deployment.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > System Mobile > Mobile App Builder.
    2. In the Mobile App Builder application scope selection screen, search and select the name of your application scope.
    3. Select a category from the categories home screen.
    4. Open a new or existing record.
      • To open a new record, select the New button (New button in categories home screen.).
      • To edit an existing record, select a record name.
    5. In the record screen, select the Choose button (Choose button.) to open a list of reference records within all the application scopes you have access to.
      Note:
      You can use records from other scopes. However, you are not able to create a new record in an alternative application scope.

      Select an item to edit.
    6. Select a record name and then select the Apply button (Apply button.).
      The record screen opens with the predefined data.
    7. Edit the fields as required and select Save.
