Exploring Conversational Interfaces Console

  • The Conversational Interfaces applications enable your users to engage with live agents, virtual agents, or both. These interfaces provide tools for creating and managing optimal conversational experiences for your users, in the chat channels that they prefer.

    If you are new to Conversational Interfaces and haven't implemented or used Virtual Agent yet, you can access the Conversational Interfaces Console application to explore all available features.

    For existing users, you can access the Conversational Interfaces console application to discover added enhancements or advanced-level features.

    Conversational Interfaces console advantages

    Navigate through an intelligent experience that is uniquely tailored to where you are as a Conversational Interfaces user. The Conversational Interfaces console is ideal for first-time users who have never installed or configured Conversational Interfaces, to the most experienced user looking to expand full capabilities and maintain existing implementations.

    Conversational Interfaces console provides the following features:
    • Guided experience modules that walk you through essential tasks, such as adding your bot to a portal, branding and customizing your bot, setting up bot greetings, collecting metrics, and more.
    • Access to helpful resources and videos to help you plan your virtual or human agent conversational experience.
    • General settings for both Virtual Agent and Agent Chat, as well as settings specific to each application.
    • Bot performance metrics for recent conversations.
    • Progress panel that shows you what has been configured on your instance.

    Navigate to All > Conversational Interfaces > Home to start exploring its features.

    The Conversational Interfaces console is also available in the Omni-Experience Standard Feature Set app from the ServiceNow Store. Existing customers don't need to install it from the store.
