President and Chief Executive Officer
Frank Slootman joined in May 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director. Prior to this, Slootman served as a partner with Greylock Partners from January 2011 to April 2011, and served as an advisor to EMC Corporation from January 2011 to February 2012. From July 2009 to January 2011, he served as President of the Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC. From July 2003 to July 2009, Slootman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Data Domain, Inc., which was acquired by EMC in 2009. Prior to joining Data Domain, Slootman served as an executive at Borland Software Corporation from June 2000 to June 2003. From March 1993 to June 2000, Slootman held consecutive general management positions for two enterprise software divisions of Compuware Corporation. Slootman holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from the Netherlands School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Chief Product Officer
Frederic B. Luddy founded ServiceNow in June 2004 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s Chief Product Officer and as a director. After having founded ServiceNow, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer from that time until May 2011. Luddy has been a director since June 2004. Prior to this, Luddy served as Chief Technology Officer of Peregrine Systems, Inc. from April 1990 to October 2003. Prior to that role, Luddy founded Enterprise Software Associates, and held positions at Boole and Babbage, Inc., and the Amdahl Corporation.
Chief Information Officer
Jay Anderson joined ServiceNow in October 2013 to oversee the company’s global IT strategy aligned with managing tremendous growth in employees, customers, partners and suppliers. Jay is focused on pushing the limits of service management across the enterprise to demonstrate its flexibility in helping solve the business needs of every department. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Jay was Vice President of Engineering at Data Domain and EMC (via acquisition). Before Data Domain, Jay was the CIO of Pinnacle Systems, where he held vice president roles in manufacturing and customer support. Jay also spent 15 years at Hewlett Packard, starting his career in manufacturing engineering, progressing to leadership roles in engineering, manufacturing, and customer support. Jay graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Shelly Begun joined ServiceNow in July 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow's Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Begun was Vice President of Human Resources for the Backup Recovery Systems division at EMC, following the acquisition of Data Domain, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources. She has also held Vice President positions with Simplex Solutions, Xilinix, and Actel Corporation.
Chief Operating Officer
Dan McGee joined in August 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, McGee served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Support of the Backup Recovery Systems Division of EMC from July 2009 to August 2011. He held senior positions at Data Domain, most recently Senior Vice President of Engineering and Support from February 2006 to July 2009. Prior to joining Data Domain, McGee served as Vice President of Engineering at Aventail Corporation from March 2004 to February 2006 and held various positions at Pinnacle Systems, Inc. from August 1999 to March 2004, including the joint position of Director of Network Solutions and General Manager of Distributed Broadcast Solutions. McGee holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from Oregon State University and an M.S. in engineering management from Stanford University.
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Scarpelli joined in 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow's Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Scarpelli served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Operations of the Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC from July 2009 to August 2011. From September 2006 to July 2009, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Data Domain. Prior to joining Data Domain, Scarpelli served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Lexar Media, Inc. from January 2006 until August 2006, when Micron Technology, Inc. acquired Lexar. From January 2002 to December 2005, he held senior positions at HPL Technologies, Inc. Scarpelli began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from May 1989 to December 2001. Scarpelli holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Western Ontario.
Chief Revenue Officer
David Schneider joined in June 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow's Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Schneider served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales of the backup recovery systems division of EMC from July 2009 to June 2011. From January 2004 to July 2009, Schneider held senior positions at Data Domain, most recently Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Prior to joining Data Domain, he held positions as Vice President of Alliances, Channel and OEM Sales at Borland Software, Vice President of Western United States Sales at TogetherSoft Corporation (later acquired by Borland Software), and Western Regional Manager at Iona Technologies, Inc. Schneider holds a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Irvine.
Chief Marketing Officer
Beth White joined in January 2012 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, White served as Vice President of Marketing at EMC's Backup Recovery Systems Division from July 2009 to February 2011. Prior to that, White served as Vice President of Marketing at Data Domain, which was acquired by EMC, from 2006 to 2009. Before joining Data Domain, White held Vice President of Marketing positions at Aarohi Communications and Vixel Corporation, both of which were eventually acquired by Emulex Corporation. White has also held positions as Vice President of Product Marketing and Management at Borland Corporation, Senior Partner at Global Accelerator and 54th Street Partners, and global marketing positions at Hitachi Data Systems and Groupe Bull in France. White holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Northern Arizona.
Chief Strategy Officer
Dave Wright joined in December 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Wright spent over six years with VMware, Inc. as Vice President of Technical Services for EMEA. From 2003 to 2005 Wright headed up the technical division for Northern and Southern Europe at Mercury Interactive. Prior to that he spent six years at Peregrine Systems, Inc., where he held a variety of senior technical and marketing positions. Wright has also worked for Boole & Babbage, Inc. and Candle Services (later acquired by IBM).
