Frank Slootman joined in May 2011 and currently serves as
ServiceNow’s President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director.
Prior to this, Slootman served as a partner with Greylock Partners
from January 2011 to April 2011, and served as an advisor to EMC
Corporation from January 2011 to February 2012. From July 2009 to
January 2011, he served as President of the Backup Recovery Systems
Division at EMC. From July 2003 to July 2009, Slootman served as
President and Chief Executive Officer of Data Domain, Inc., which was
acquired by EMC in 2009. Prior to joining Data Domain, Slootman served
as an executive at Borland Software Corporation from June 2000 to June
2003. From March 1993 to June 2000, Slootman held consecutive general
management positions for two enterprise software divisions of
Compuware Corporation. Slootman holds undergraduate and graduate
degrees in economics from the Netherlands School of Economics, Erasmus
Chris Bedi joined ServiceNow in September 2015 and currently serves
as ServiceNow’s CIO. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Bedi served as CIO
of JDSU from August 2011 to March 2015 where he was responsible for
IT, Facilities, and Indirect Procurement. Prior to JDSU, Bedi held
various positions at VeriSign from April 2002 until August 2011,
including CIO, VP Corporate Development, and VP HR Operations. Bedi
began his career at KPMG Consulting from June 1996 to April 2002. He
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University
Shelly Begun joined ServiceNow in July 2011 and currently serves as
ServiceNow's Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to
joining ServiceNow, Begun was Vice President of Human Resources for
the Backup Recovery Systems division at EMC, following the acquisition
of Data Domain, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources.
She has also held Vice President positions with Simplex Solutions,
Xilinix, and Actel Corporation.
Eric Clark joined in April 2016 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s
Senior Vice President of Global Services. Prior to joining ServiceNow,
Clark served as Global Vice President of Commercial Industries at
Dell. While at Dell, Eric held numerous leadership roles including
Head of the Customer & Sales Office for the EMEA region. Prior to
Dell, Clark was Vice President of Application Innovation Services and
Global Delivery at Hewlett‑Packard Company (HP). During his more than
nine years at HP, Eric held several leadership roles in solutions
consulting, transformation services, global sales and applications
services within the Americas and the Asia Pacific & Japan regions.
He also was associated with Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen
Consulting and Bank of America. Eric holds a Master of Business
Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University
of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree
from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dan McGee joined in August 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow's
Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, McGee served as
Senior Vice President of Engineering and Support of the Backup
Recovery Systems Division of EMC from July 2009 to August 2011. He
held senior positions at Data Domain, most recently Senior Vice
President of Engineering and Support from February 2006 to July 2009.
Prior to joining Data Domain, McGee served as Vice President of
Engineering at Aventail Corporation from March 2004 to February 2006
and held various positions at Pinnacle Systems, Inc. from August 1999
to March 2004, including the joint position of Director of Network
Solutions and General Manager of Distributed Broadcast Solutions.
McGee holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from
Oregon State University and an M.S. in engineering management from
Dan Rogers joined in July 2016 and currently serves as ServiceNow’s
Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Rogers served as
Chief Marketing Officer at Symantec. Before joining Symantec, Rogers
held positions as Chief Marketing Officer of the EMEA‑region at
Salesforce, Head of Global Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and
Demand Generation for Amazon Web Services, and previously served in
senior marketing and product management roles at Microsoft. Rogers
holds a B.A. in economics, and is a Fulbright Scholar and Baker
Scholar from Harvard Business School.
Michael Scarpelli joined in 2011 and currently serves as ServiceNow's
Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Scarpelli served
as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Operations of the
Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC from July 2009 to August 2011.
From September 2006 to July 2009, he served as Chief Financial Officer
of Data Domain. Prior to joining Data Domain, Scarpelli served as
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Lexar Media,
Inc. from January 2006 until August 2006, when Micron Technology, Inc.
acquired Lexar. From January 2002 to December 2005, he held senior
positions at HPL Technologies, Inc. Scarpelli began his career at
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from May 1989 to December 2001. Scarpelli
holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Western Ontario.
David Schneider joined in June 2011 and currently serves as
ServiceNow's Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow,
Schneider served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales of the
Backup Recovery Systems division of EMC from July 2009 to June 2011.
From January 2004 to July 2009, Schneider held senior positions at
Data Domain, most recently Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Prior to joining Data Domain, he held positions as Vice President of
Alliances, Channel and OEM Sales at Borland Software, Vice President
of Western United States Sales at TogetherSoft Corporation (later
acquired by Borland Software), and Western Regional Manager at Iona
Technologies, Inc. Schneider holds a B.A. in political science from
the University of California, Irvine.
Robert Specker has served as ServiceNow’s General Counsel since 2011.
He is responsible for all legal matters for the company. Prior to
ServiceNow, Mr. Specker served as Vice President, Legal, for the
Backup Recovery Systems (BRS) Division of EMC Corporation. Mr. Specker
joined EMC upon its acquisition of Data Domain, Inc. Mr. Specker
managed the legal group at Data Domain, where he served as Vice
President, Legal. He established the legal department and managed all
legal matters for the company, including its initial public offering,
follow‑on public offering and acquisition by EMC. Prior to Data
Domain, Specker served as Associate General Counsel at Synopsys, Inc.
and Partner at Gunderson Dettmer, LLP and Associate at Brobeck,
Phleger & Harrison, LLP. He earned his Juris Doctorate at
University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall).
Dave Wright joined in December 2011 and currently serves as
ServiceNow’s Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining ServiceNow,
Wright spent over six years with VMware, Inc. as Vice President of
Technical Services for EMEA. From 2003 to 2005 Wright headed up the
technical division for Northern and Southern Europe at Mercury
Interactive. Prior to that he spent six years at Peregrine Systems,
Inc., where he held a variety of senior technical and marketing
positions. Wright has also worked for Boole & Babbage, Inc. and
Candle Services (later acquired by IBM).
