How to transfer ticket from one domain to another?

I am working on a separated domain instance and I have a request to transfer an Incident to another domain. We have a field for Domain and I tried changing that but it won't work. I also tried exporting the ticket and editing the domain sys_id and importing it again but it will just go back to its original domain where I exporter it. Can you guys please help me with this matter?

HI,
So the issue is, you can update the domain when you are on the parent domain. Please go to the parent domain and try to update it.
Also try to do this using a background script.

Thanks all for your help. What I did is I exported an XML record and edited the XML then imported it back.
