How to create a IRE Rule on cmdb_rel_ci table? Is it recommended to create IRE Rule on cmdb_rel_ci?

Hello All,

 

We are getting errors in Import Set Transform History.

in cmdb_ci_appl table we can see duplicate records with same name and in cmdb_rel_ci table also having duplicates with same parent and child.

Currently there is no Rule exists on cmdb_rel_ci table. If we create IRE Rule these errors will not occur again? is it recommended? what parameters we need to configure if we need to create new IRE

Hi @sattar3 ,

 

I have faced this issue last month but it was on a diffrent application.

 

Here is the solution:

There is some duplicate data which your transform map is trying to overwrite and hence your getting this error. What i want you to do is to find the CIs or Items with the Sys_id 'S given try to remove them from cmdb and run the map again that must fix the issue.

 

So basically you need to removed the existing duplicate CI and rerun the process. I hope this helps..
