    • The ServiceNow® Operational Technology Discovery application, that amplifies visibility of OT devices in your system, was enhanced and updated in the Australia release.

    Operational Technology Discovery highlights for the Australia release

    Operational Technology Discovery components:
    • Discovery Console for OT.
    • Discovery Sensor for OT
      • Use the Discovery Sensor for Operational Technology (OT) application to discover and query devices in the Operational Technology environment.
      • Improvements have been made to the Sensor Device Management Interface (DMI) to enhance usability. See Device Management Interface.
      • In the Console, you can access a list of all sensors that are associated with a Discovery Console for OT. To view the Sensors, select the Appliances page from the Main Menu. This list shows both Senors and Collectors. Select the Sensor name to access basic, connection, and other service information.
    • OT Discovery Collector
      • The Collector goes where the Sensor can't reach in your Operational Technology environment.
      • The Collector delivers native protocol support without requiring any appliance, making it fast to implement and easy to scale.
    • Service Graph Connector for ServiceNow Operational Technology Discovery
      • You must install the Service Graph Connector for ServiceNow OT Discovery before accessing and installing the Discovery for OT component packages.
      • Use the Guided Setup to connect the Service Graph Connector for ServiceNow OT Discovery with network zones and sites.

    Important information for upgrading Operational Technology Discovery to the Australia release

    Navigate to the Operational Technology Discovery's Downloads page either through Service Graph Connector for ServiceNow OT Discovery Guided Setup page or on SGC Central. This site clearly indicates the upgrade packages.
