showing all the sub categories available irrespective of what category is set on reports

Hi, we have dependent field on sub category so on Incident table subcategories are displayed based on the dependent Category right?
but this thing is not working on reports
it is showing all the sub categories available irrespective of what category is set, but I want to display only related subcategories.

Agree but no way to solve this. You can use like this if you know the sub cats.
and select manually.

Not end User but the ITIL users from other teams who may not have idea on other subcategories.

Yes mate, then it is tough and no other solution. But if we are puting category as filter then either you select any sub cat in other filter , it will bring results for combination only where cat & sub cat match, which should work for you.
