Can I set the default value of a choice field only to new /future records?

Hi.

 

I have a choice field and I would like to set a default value ONLY to NEW RECORDS / FUTURE Records. Is that possible?

Hi @ss123 ,

You can select the default Choice by adding the value of choice in the Default Value field.

 

In the dictionary entry of the Reference field we have the Default value that can be specified. Have done for assignment group on incident
