I want to remove those items from my new SP portal

Hi,

 

I have created a New Service portal in ServiceNow. in to that i want to remove some of the catalog items but it should not going to affect remaining OOB portals which are already available in the system.

Please help me out how can we do the same.

Any possibility if i can remove those widgets into the New portal

Hi @kranthi2 , 

 

1. Create a new catalog for the new portal in the sc_catalog table

2. Now add all the catalog items into that newly created catalog which ever is needed in new portal

3. Now add the SBX catalog to your new portal in sp_portal record in the the related list

If you want to show only to specific user

- Create user criteria on catalog item , but it will impact on call Portals.

2nd option, 

copy these catalog item and add them only to catalog and categories which are available on new portal and then create user criteria.

Hi @kranthi2 , 

In your new portal, add the only specific catalog to the displayed under your new portal.

In the catalog item, you can select, in which catalog it should be displayed. Its a list so you can select multiple catalogs. 

In this way, the OOB catalog items still visible in all other portals. So for this, which catalog items you need for custom portal, add them all in new catalog. And, add that catalog to new portal.

instead i want to select Catalog items.

I have created a New Service portal for specific users,

if any one is enter into that portal then the user will able to see few of the catalog items.

 

SP portal-Default portal in Servicenow:

If it is SBX new portal:

Which ever mark as red in the above screen i don't want those items should be in this SBX portal.
