The Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Maturity Assessment accelerator evaluates your organization's current IRM processes and functional maturity within ServiceNow. It offers prescriptive, structured recommendations to help you unlock additional value from your IRM investment. This accelerator provides a snapshot of your existing IRM maturity and targeted next steps, enabling you to maximize your use of the ServiceNow platform.

This accelerator is available to customers with Impact Guided+ (Strategic Value add-on), Advanced, and Total Packages.
Process and Deliverables
- IRM Maturity Assessment Kickoff Session (up to 1.5 hours): Sets expectations, defines customer participation, and requests necessary data.
- IRM Maturity Assessment Questionnaire: Participants independently complete a prebuilt questionnaire designed to identify gaps and opportunities in your IRM usage.
- Questionnaire Results Analysis: ServiceNow’s Impact Squad reviews responses, compiles tailored recommendations, and provides guidance to optimize your IRM investment.
- IRM Maturity Assessment Report: Includes a maturity score, top five recommended unadopted IRM features, additional initiatives or accelerators, and a comprehensive list of recommendations based on input from ServiceNow IRM leaders.
- Customer Readout Session (up to 1.5 hours): Presentation and discussion of the assessment report, targeted recommendations, and a suggested implementation plan.
- Follow-up Session (up to 1 hour): Q&A and additional guidance on leading practices as needed.
Customer Responsibilities
- Main Customer Contact/PMO: Acts as primary engagement contact, gathers assessment participants, ensures questionnaire completion, and sponsors outputs.
- Assessment Participants: Complete the questionnaire by the deadline and raise any issues promptly.
- Process Owner: Owns the IRM process under assessment.
- Requested Information/Access: Completion of the questionnaire is expected at least two weeks before the readout session.
Important Notes and Exclusions
- This accelerator does not include a technical review of your IRM implementation.
- ServiceNow provides recommendations but does not perform implementation of those recommendations.

Integrated Risk Management Maturity Assessment provides Impact customers with prescriptive recommendations based on a structured assessment conducted by key stakeholders within the customer’s business.
By offering customers a snapshot of their current process maturity and targeted next-step recommendations, this accelerator helps maximize the value of their ServiceNow investment.

- The Impact Squad performs the following:
- Reviews and analyzes the questionnaire scores
- Compiles tailored recommendations and leading practices
- Provides guidance that helps you understand how to best maximize your IRM product investment
- IRM Maturity Assessment Report
- The assessment report is a result of the questionnaire and input from ServiceNow IRM leaders and includes the following:
- Maturity score
- The top five recommendations of unadopted product features for IRM
- Additional initiatives or Impact Accelerators to conduct, or specific recommendations to achieve outcomes
- A complete list of recommendations observed
- Customer Readout Session (up to 1.5 hours)
