    ServiceNow Governance – On Demand provides Impact customers with a structured, self-paced way to evaluate the current state of six critical AI governance domains. Through this process, customers identify gaps, prioritize what matters most, confirm their focus areas, and develop a clear, actionable, and easy-to-execute 90-day action plan. Designed for independent execution, customers progress at their own pace using guided activities, example-driven content, and built-in tools without the need for scheduling the activities. This offering is grounded in the ServiceNow Governance framework and aligned to the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.

    Prerequisites

    • Customers interested in deploying or planning to deploy AI capabilities (Now Assist, AI Agents, Predictive Intelligence, or similar)
    • Customer must be familiar with their organization's current approach to AI governance, risk management, and data handling

    What You Get

    Orientation
    Review an introduction video and background materials that explain the methodology, the crawl, walk, run, and fly maturity framework, what to expect, and how to get the most out of the accelerator.
    Assess Current State
    Complete a guided assessment across six AI governance areas. For each statement, indicate whether it reflects your current state (Yes, Partial, No, or Not applicable).
    Prioritize Gaps
    Review your assessment results transformed into a gap analysis, then score each gap on Impact and Feasibility to determine which ones matter most to your organization.
    Confirm Your Focus
    Confirm which gaps to focus on and strengthen your AI governance model.
    Build Action Plan
    Generate a 90-day action plan with specific next steps, owners, and timelines based on your selections. Download as a PowerPoint presentation to share with stakeholders.
    Output(s)
    A downloadable 90-day action plan that outlines your assessment findings, prioritized gaps, target maturity levels, and a structured action plan with weekly tasks, assigned owners, and status updates.

    The following are recommended resources suggested to participate and contribute to the outcome of this accelerator. The same personnel may fulfill multiple responsibilities.

    Customer Resource Responsibilities
    Platform Owner Responsible for the overall accountability of the ServiceNow platform. Provides leadership and oversight to the System Administrators, ensures team alignment to business strategy and the ServiceNow roadmap, and is actively involved in the overarching governance of the platform.
    AI/ML Program Lead or Sponsor Individual responsible for AI strategy, use case prioritization, or oversight of Now Assist / AI Agents deployment. Provides insight into current AI governance practices, risk tolerance, and organizational readiness.

    Requested Information / Access

    • Access to your ServiceNow platform instance for reference during the assessment.
    • Knowledge of your current AI governance practices, including any policies, risk frameworks, or accountability structures in place.
    • Awareness of current and planned AI deployments (Now Assist, AI Agents, Predictive Intelligence, custom ML models).
    • Understanding of any regulatory or compliance requirements related to AI in your industry.

    ServiceNow is not responsible for implementing any of the recommended governance changes in your organization. This accelerator provides assessment and guidance while the implementation of governance structures, policies, and controls is the customer's responsibility.
