A candidate is a group of recommended remote tables that you can use to create an application based on a custom transaction (ERP root) in the system. Candidates can also be existing
applications that sit on top of the legacy ERP system of record.
Good candidates for replatforming tend to be smaller applications that use data from the system of record.
