Update a previously installed AES version

    • If you previously installed App Engine Studio (AES) from the ServiceNow Store and if a new version is available, then update the version in your instance.

    Before you begin

    Note:
    There should be no changes to the underlying applications or code bases when updating AES.

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Application Manager.
    2. Search for App Engine Studio.
    3. Select the App Engine Studio product card.

    4. Select the Proceed to update button.
    5. In the Review Installation Details modal, locate the App Engine Studio application and select the version that you want to update to.
    6. Select Proceed.
    7. Select when you want the installation to occur.
      • To have the installation occur immediately, select the option to install now, then select Install.
      • To have the installation occur at a specified time, select the option to install later, then select the date and time when you want the installation to occur and select Schedule.

    Result

    App Engine Studio automatically updates on the instance.
