Configuring ReleaseOps

Configure ReleaseOps to move changes from development to testing to production.

Starting with version 1.2.1 of ReleaseOps, you can complete initial configuration with ReleaseOps guided setup. Use the following procedure to complete ReleaseOps configuration using guided setup:

1. Install ReleaseOps on each instance that participates in your ReleaseOps ecosystem.
2. Complete ReleaseOps guided setup.
3. Create a custom pipeline to add additional instances and playbook activities tailored to the unique needs of your organization.
4. Set Automated Test Framework (ATF) code coverage to enhance the efficacy of your ATF test suites.

You can also complete ReleaseOps configuration manually for more complex setup scenarios, and if you need to make additional changes to your ReleaseOps ecosystem after initial configuration. Use the following procedure to complete ReleaseOps manual setup:

1. Configure multi-instance management for instances using ReleaseOps.
2. Install ReleaseOps on each instance that participates in your ReleaseOps ecosystem.
3. Complete ReleaseOps manual setup.
4. Create a custom pipeline to add additional instances and playbook activities tailored to the unique needs of your organization.
5. Set Automated Test Framework (ATF) code coverage to enhance the efficacy of your ATF test suites.
