  • Configure finding definitions to deliver discovered insights to your Summary and Insights dashboard.

A finding definition creates the rule that searches for insights relevant to a process that is based on a specified table. After you configure a definition, any relevant records show as discoveries in the Insights section of the Summary and Insights dashboard.

There are two types of finding definitions:

    • Rule-based finding definitions
    • Automated finding definitions

Both finding definitions serve the same purpose, but the way they’re created varies.

Rule-based finding definitions are created where you can change the table to have a start and stop condition based on a secondary table. They have finding rules and finding constraints, which must be set by you.

Automated findings are simpler to create. The process is short and can be completed in a few selects.
