Edit a generated test using Test generation

    • You can edit a Test generation generated test after the preview is generated in the test generation process.

    Starting with the Australia release, Test generation is being prepared for future deprecation. It will be hidden and no longer installed on new instances but will continue to be supported. For details, see the Deprecation Process [KB0867184] article in the Now Support Knowledge Base.

    You can use either of the following methods to edit a test that depends on the current stage of the process.

    Before the test is saved

    1. Edit your prompt in the Now Assist directions field on the Test preview page.
    2. Click Regenerate test preview.

    After the test is saved

    1. Scroll down to the Test steps related list on the generated test.
    2. Click Add Test Steps if you want to add more test steps.
      Note:
      You can also select an existing test row and select an action to be implemented on the selected row. You can also edit the test steps at any point of time during the test creation process.
