    • Elevate your role to security_admin in ServiceNow Studio to configure roles and access control lists (ACLs).

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin, or another role that can be elevated.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
    2. From the home page, select your user preferences.
    3. Select Elevate role.
    4. Select the security_admin role.
      The security_admin role grants modification access to high security settings and enables you to modify the access control list (ACL). For more information, see Elevated privilege roles.

      Elevate to the security_admin role to configure roles and access control lists.

    5. Select Update.
