    • View the commit history of apps linked to a source control repository in ServiceNow Studio to review what changes were committed, by whom, and when.

    Before you begin

    Link an app to source control in ServiceNow Studio

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
    2. In the file navigator, select the application you want to open.
    3. Select App details to open the app in the canvas.
    4. Select Source control > View history.
      The commit history list displays with the following details.
    5. Sort the commit history list by any of the following details.
      Field Description
      Commit message Comments associated with the commit that describe what was committed.
      User User who committed the change.
      SHA-1 Secure hash value identifying this commit in the repository.
      Commit date Date-time stamp of the commit.
    6. In the Files column, select View to see the files associated with the commit.
    7. Close the commit history window.
