Steve Walters is senior vice president and general manager for ServiceNow public sector. He joined ServiceNow in 2020 as the vice president of U.S. federal and took over leadership of the state and local government and higher education business and global public sector in early 2024. He’s also responsible for ServiceNow’s global public sector organization, focused on delivering impactful solutions to solve mission-critical business problems for public sector customers across the world.
Prior to ServiceNow, Steve spent nine years at Microsoft in a variety of leadership positions, including general manager of the Civilian Agencies business unit and senior director of the U.S. Army account team. Before entering the private sector, Steve was a captain in the U.S. Army, where he served in a variety of staff and leadership billets.
