Create a custom Password Reset verification type

    • Each verification in Password Reset is based on the settings for a verification type. If the verification types in the base system do not meet your needs, you can create a custom verification type.

    Before you begin

    Role required: password_reset_admin or admin

    Review the verification types that are provided in the base system to determine whether to create a custom verification type. Then review the verification type components to develop. For more information about verification types in the base system, see Verification types in the base system.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Password Reset > Extensions > Verification Types.
    2. Click New, enter a unique and meaningful Name and Description, and then fill in the form.

    3. Click Submit.
