Create a connection for a Service Graph Connector in SGC Central

Create a connection added for a Service Graph Connector within the SGC Central view of the CMDB Workspace.

Before you begin

Role required: cmdb_inst_admin or admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to Workspaces > CMDB Workspace.
2. In the CMDB Workspace, select SGC Central.
3. On the Dashboard page, select Create connection.
   Tip:

   Alternatively, you can select Create connection on the All connections page.
4. On the Create connection window, select a connector type and then follow the playbook instructions to create a connection.

   If the playbook experience isn't supported for a connector, follow the guided setup instructions.

   Note:

   • When you select a connector type, the application scope changes to the selected type.
   • When setting up a connection using a Service Graph Connector for the first time, you might need to complete the initial setup tasks. See Perform initial setup tasks when creating a connection in SGC Central.
