Mute or remove a conference call participant

  • As a communications manager, you can mute or kick conference call participants.

    Before you begin

    Role required: notify_view, notify_admin, major_incident_manager, or communication_manager

    Before starting this procedure, ensure there is an active conference call with one or more participants.

    Note:
    Any participant with the host flag set to active, can mute or kick a participant from a conference call.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Notify > Conference Calls.
    2. Select a conference call.
    3. In the Notify Conference Call Participants related list, select a participant.
    4. Click Mute or Kick.
      Note:
      You can unmute a muted participant. A kicked participant may rejoin the conference call by calling in again.
