Key Features
- Monitoring Scheduled Replication Sets: You can now monitor the progress of all scheduled replication sets through the IDR Monitoring Dashboard, enabling better oversight of replication activities.
- Tracking Replication Requests: The Scheduled Replication Requests related list allows you to track the progress and access detailed status information for individual replication requests within a set.
- UI Enhancements: The Coral theme is now the default for new portal, web, and mobile experiences, offering a modern, brand-neutral look with an optional dark theme to improve readability and reduce eye strain.
Important Upgrade Information
- Upgrade legacy replication sets to V2 to leverage the Hermes Messaging Service for better performance and processing efficiency.
- Log rotation is now automatically enabled for the Replication Payload Error table, with a schedule that segments logs into seven shards spanning five days each, ensuring efficient log management.
- All pre-upgrade log entries in the Replication Payload Error table are truncated automatically upon upgrade.
Deprecations and Removals
- Legacy replication sets are deprecated and no longer supported in Zurich, so upgrading to V2 replication sets is necessary.
- The Key Management Service and VAULT Service Status tests have been removed from the IDR Diagnostics page.
Activation and Related Features
- IDR is a ServiceNow AI Platform feature activated via the IDR plugin (com.glide.idr), which requires a separate subscription.
- The Hermes Messaging Service underpins the new V2 replication sets, providing reliable, high-volume Kafka event transport across instances.
