    New in the Zurich release

    Zurich Patch 4
    Generate summaries for records in custom applications and tables with the custom app record summarization skill.
    Configure the custom app record summarization skill so that it generates summaries for the tables and records that you specify. You can add context about the table or tables and describe the purpose of the table, so that Now Assist can use that information when generating summaries.
    Select the Summarize button on a record in-product to generate a summary. You can also summarize a record through chat in the Now Assist panel. See for more information.

    New third-party AI model provider options available for Now Assist
    Google Gemini 2.0 Flash, Google Gemini 2.5 Pro, and AWS Claude 3.7 Sonnet are available for Now Assist skills and AI agents in addition to Now LLM Service and Azure OpenAI GPT-4.1 and GPT-4.1 mini.

    Changes to Now Assist usage measurement
    Starting with Zurich Patch 5, Now Assist usage measurement is transitioning from a 365-day look-back model to a 365-day burn-down model, with usage resetting at the contract anniversary date. For more information, refer to KB KB2704710: Now Assist Usage - Overview & New Measurement Logic.

    Install Now Assist for App Engine by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store website to view all the available apps and for information about submitting requests to the store.
