    • Automated Test Framework (ATF) Support: The Test Agent enables running and troubleshooting ATF tests directly from the Build Agent chat panel, with automatic saving and scheduling of test results for regression testing.
    • UI Builder Agent: Use natural language to create and modify UI pages, add layouts, configure components, and analyze page structures, reducing manual configuration efforts.
    • Integration with Design Tools: Connect Build Agent to the Figma Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to accelerate transitioning from design to development by accessing structured Figma data.
    • AI Model Provider Flexibility: Support for multiple AI providers, including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude on AWS, Now LLM Service, Azure OpenAI, and others, enabling choice in AI capabilities for Now Assist skills and agents.
    • Usage and Security Updates: Usage measurement now follows a burn-down model resetting at contract anniversaries. Additional role and ACL configurations are required to securely enable agentic workflows and AI agents.

    New in the Zurich release

    Zurich Patch 9
Upload brand guidelines to generate theme colors
Upload brand guidelines as a PDF to the Theme Builder theme creation workflow to generate themes aligned with your brand.
    Test Agent for Build Agent
The Test Agent can now execute Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests right from the Build Agent chat panel for test artifacts created in the same session. When tests fail, the tests and test results generated by Test Agent after execution are saved in the standard ATF record tables and can be scheduled for continued regression testing for the app. If tests were edited by the test agent after troubleshooting, those edits are automatically saved to the test records.
Semantic search for instance artifact discovery
Use semantic search in Build Agent to locate relevant instance artifacts, including tables, scripts, and business rules during build and edit tasks. Find files, applications, and knowledge on your instance based on meaning instead of requiring exact keywords.
    UI validation tool
Validate user interface output automatically during Build Agent app creation using the integrated UI validation, which runs Playwright-based UI checks on Cloud Runner and surfaces failures with diagnostic context directly in the Build Agent panel.
Create agentic workflows, agents, and skills
Turn business requirements into fully configured agents, skills, and agentic workflows for your custom applications. Build Agent inspects your app's existing tables, roles, business rules, and metadata to create tailored in-app agents, complete with the tools needed to support your specific use case.
    Zurich Patch 8

    • List controls
    • Service Catalog items
    • UI components
    • UI policies
    • UI views
    • Workspaces

    Changed in this release

    Zurich Patch 5
Changes to Now Assist usage measurement
Starting with Zurich Patch 5, Now Assist usage measurement is transitioning from a 365-day look-back model to a 365-day burn-down model, with usage resetting at the contract anniversary date. For more information, refer to KB KB2704710: Now Assist Usage - Overview & New Measurement Logic.
    Zurich Patch 4
Some Now Assist skills are turned on by default
The new default behavior works as follows:
    • New customers: When you install a Now Assist product, designated skills are turned on automatically.
    • Existing customers who are upgrading (starting with Zurich Patch 4): Any previously unconfigured skill is turned on automatically (the skill was never configured and turned on, then turned off again). Previously configured skills that were turned on, then off, remain inactive.
Role configuration required for agentic workflows and AI agents
Agentic workflows and AI agents included with Now Assist applications require additional security configuration. If you select Users with selected roles for your user access security controls for an agentic workflow or AI agent, you must add the installed roles, or they won't execute. Data access settings must also include these roles. See the documentation for the agentic workflow or AI agent for the specific roles you must add. After the roles are configured, users must have the specified role to invoke the agentic workflow or AI agent.

    Removed in this release

    Zurich Patch 6
