  • As a CMDB administrator with the sn_cmdb_admin role, you can set up data model recommendations for API clustering, configure settings for importing APIs into the API Insights workspace, and optionally review enterprise architect administrator settings for managing APIs.

    1. Configure data model recommendations for API clustering in API Insights

      Set recommendations for clustering related API components to align the organization's data with the desired data model.

    2. Configure instance API import settings in API Insights.

      Set options to import custom and ServiceNow APIs from your instance into the CMDB.

      Review and configure enterprise architect administrator settings for managing APIs. You can turn on the All settings option to access both CMDB administrator and enterprise architect administrator settings from the API Insights settings page.
