Request a Manager instance

    • Request a Manager instance from the Multi-instance page to configure multi-instance management.

    Before you begin

    Note:
    This feature isn’t supported on Government Community Cloud (GCC), on-premises, and Domain Separated instances.

    Role required: sn_ai_governance.ai_steward

    About this task

    This task can be performed if you're logged in from a sub-prod (Managed) instance.

    Note:
    Confirm that the plugin com.glide.mif.mtls is active. If it isn’t active, install the plugin com.glide.mif.mtls by submitting a support request with Now support for Multi-instance Framework (MIF) features.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > AI Control Tower > Home > Settings > Integrations > Multi-instance.
    2. Under Request a Manager instance, click Select a Manager instance.
      Select a Manager instance dialog box appears.
    3. Select the Manager instance from the drop-down.
    4. Select Send request.

    Result

    The request gets approved by your Manager instance.
